Georgina Silver Stick Champs!
Congratulations to the Innisfil Bantam
LL2 team who won the HL/LL Silver Stick Regional Qualifier held in Georgina on
December 27-29, 2019.
The team overcame an early loss to finish the
round-robin in third place with a record of 3-1. They continuously improved
their play each game which culminated in an impressive 5-1 win over the
Thornton Tigers LL2 to take the championship!
The coaching staff is proud of the team work
displayed and how the players represented Innisfil! Thanks to all the friends
and family that came out to support the team.
Good luck to the Bantam LL2 squad as they head to International Silver Stick Finals
in Pelham on January 9th to 12th, 2020. Great job Winterhawks!
