Welcome to the Tyke Select Puck Shot Challenge!!!

This puck shot challenge is designed to improve our hockey player's shots through a fun an interactive way.  Each player is encouraged to participate in this office development program.

We are looking for 200 pucks to be shot weekly at home for this program.  If the player is not able to shoot 200 pucks in a week that is ok, still enter in the number of pucks on the online form.

Shot breakdown should be as follows:
Wrist shots - 100  - these are regular wrist shots aimed at the lower half of the net.  Starting from the back leg and pulling the puck across the body and using the wrists at the point of release.  Players should finish their shot by pointing the toe of the stick to the bottom half of the net.  Mix it up with shots to the left, 5 hole and right.
Top Shelf attempts - 50  - These are wrist shots that are aimed higher in the net.  These should reach the top half of the net with the goal of being able to shoot the puck into the top of the net.  Players should finish their shot by pointing the toe of the stick to the top of the net.  Mix it up with shots to the left and right.
Backhand shots - 50 - These are shots where the player starts with the puck on the back heel of the stick and pulls up to raise it.

Monthly prizes.
A monthly prize will be awarded for this program.  The coaches will review and monitor the data and player progression to award a winner.

Parents please encourage and monitor your child's shot progression and provide feedback via the online form.

This will be a great way for us to improve and get involved in our children's development!

Good luck and shoot hard!

Please fill out this form weekly as we would like weekly shot submissions.
