Local League U13 Team #1 sponsored by local companies HardRock Landscaping and Canadian Clean Fuels were the 400 series - Lake Simcoe Cup CHAMPIONS!
They played hard all tournament finishing first in the round robin, including a 6-1 victory against a team that had only lost twice all year. After a tight 3-1 win in the semi final the team moved on to play the other Innisfil team in the finals. They saved their best game for last and pulled out a 6-1 win. The coaching staff is most proud that throughout the weekend, they showed heart and determination each time they were on the ice, as well as good sportsmanship.
None of that is possible without the support of the parents and their support was awesome all weekend long. Their support after adversity in our last round robin game and the cheering gauntlet after the victory were equally as important for the team. The coaching and management staff are so appreciative of this supportive group.
