Red Zone Update
Submitted By Innisfil Minor Hockey on Friday, December 11, 2020
Hello IMHA Families,

The SMHU has announced that as of Monday December 14th the provincial government will be moving Simcoe/Muskoka into the red zone.

This will have a huge impact on IMHA and its ability to provide a safe and effective program for our members.

The new rules would impose the following restrictions:

1. Only 10 people (players, coaches and trainers) will be permitted to participate in IMHA programming at a given time
2. No Use of Change rooms
3. No Scrimmages

These restrictions do not permit IMHA to offer a fair, safe program that would benefit all of our players. At this point IMHA will be pausing our program for a minimum of 28 days or until we are able to move from red back to orange Zone. We are hopeful that on January 11th we are able to not only reinstate hockey to our community but also offer a new exciting format for all IMHA participants. Updates will be posted as available. Please direct all questions or concerns to the IMHA and we will be happy to help as best as possible. Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and have a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year. IMHA Board of Directors
