Hello Innisfil Minor Hockey Association Families,

IMHA has been informed by the town of Innisfil that the Provincial Government has placed Simcoe County into the Orange Zone.

What does this mean for IMHA families?

The Orange Zone (PHU level restrict) is meant to restrict the spread of the Covid-19 virus within Simcoe county. In order to do so we will need to maintain our current level of prevention and add the following restrictions:

It is vital these restrictions are not violated in order to maintain our ice contracts. Therefore,  any parents/guardians found breaking one of these rules will be immediately suspended from our facilities for the remainder of the first session (ends December 31).

This change will be hard for some, we understand this is a difficult time and we are all being asked to continuously limit our activities. IMHA has decided to focus on the positive, we will continue to provide the best program we are capable of providing. It is our focus to keep players on the ice, active and having fun. We will do our best to provide a program that gives all our players a distraction from the stress of dealing with the virus and a slice of normality in a world of upheaval and uncertainty.

If you have any questions please reach out to either Tom Brennan ([email protected]) for Tier 1 or Rick Earhart ([email protected]) for Tier 2 or any board member you are comfortable with. We are all in this together.

Everyone please stay healthy and stay safe.
