Atom LL#1 Season Highlights
Innisfil Winter Hawks Atom LL#1 Team
This Atom LL#1 team started the year with mostly minor atom players in a minor and major division. The team knew it would be a up hill battle because we didn’t have a goalie. After some time, a player stepped up and took the challenge of being our goalie. With many team practices and goalie training the team started earning some great wins. We ended up first place in the B division as we approached the finals. Though we did not secure first place in the finals, our team accomplished many successes this season. The team developed strong collaboration, teamwork skills, and enhanced their hockey skills immensely. They developed a strong sense of connectedness through this hockey family and have created great memories from the season. The outstanding tournament win that the team secured in Niagara Falls was definitely a highlight of the season. This group of players played with great heart and speed while enjoying the game of hockey. The coaching staff, and parents, are so proud of the teams efforts. Great season Hawks!
