Covid Clarification (Innisfil Minor Hockey)

PrintCovid Clarification

IMHA is requesting that any member who has been informed that they have come in contact with a test positive person and has been directed to isolate and/or get tested, please NOT return to the arena or any other hockey related event until they have received a negative result and/or completed their mandatory isolation period. This includes ALL family members living in the same house.

Example 1
Dad has been informed he has come in contact with a test positive person. Dad has been asked to isolate or get tested. The family living in the house with Dad are asked to not come to the arena until the isolation is complete or the test has come back negative.
Example 2
Family member living in your home (adult or child) is unwell or asymptomatic, and has been tested, and is still awaiting results. ALL Family is asked to stay away from the arena and any hockey events until a test negative result is received. Even if said person is feeling well again, if the result has not been returned yet and shown to be negative, please do not attend. If you or any family member test positive, you must report this to your coach ASAP

Most importantly, we expect everyone to follow any and all directives from the Health Board. We are not privy to your medical records and will not share any info regarding persons who contact us to self report. We are depending on the honor system to keep us all safe.

I realize this will be tough for the player to miss a day or 2, however it is a better outcome to have a player/family miss a few days vs closing down a whole cohort, or worse the whole association, due to exposure or illness.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me
